Disputed plurality of religions in the Kindergarten
A thirdspace for early childhood education

At the Kindergarten it is not possible to avoid confrontation with religious plurality. This locus demonstrates how much religious belonging is mixed with politics of identity and how much it is burdened by public assessment. At the same time people working there as pedagogues want to support all children and so they open up a thirdspace about identity and power. So, the Kindergarten is a contact zone for discourses about different religious identities and a locus to develop pedagogy sensitive for plurality in religion.
